malleus incus stapes
Songs for experiencing human life on earth
We're all going through this thing called life together. The ups and downs. The good, the bad; all of it. Together. Moving through it at the same time. We're all here now. It's what we make it, and it's what it makes us. It's what we make each other. I write songs and create music to try and help with that. This is something about what it's like to be as a human creating music and writing songs.
The malleus incus, and stapes are three tiny bones in the middle of your ear. Without them you would not hear the same way. Malleus incus stapes is also the name of a music project by Roth Conrad. Roth Conrad is a songwriter, producer, and sound engineer working out of his home studio in Athens, Georgia USA (Ear Bonez Studio). Born in Tulsa, OK and raised in Old Myakka just outside Sarasota, FL, Roth is an eccentric sonic explorer blending traditional roots melodies, rhythms, and instruments with modern home studio production techniques and synthetic sounds. His productions straddle the outlying sound space on the fringes of indie-folk, americana, and southern rock. He enjoys back country camping and runs a small aquaponics greenhouse in his back yard. Roth is very friendly. Drop him a line.
